I take it you don't understand that bankruptcy is another word for "restructure". Businesses go bankrupt all the time on purpose.

Bankrupt: something lacks value. Restructure: to convert the debt of a business into another kind of debt, typically one that is repayable at a later time. I take it you don't understand that you should educate yourself before arguing with me.

Exactly. . . he's a pretty good businessman. He borrowed money, built a business, and increased the value of his father's business ten-fold. Since the U.S. is bankrupt and losing money every year (we have a huge trade deficit), it seems a businessman just might be able to turn that around.

And, yes, the U.S. is bankrupt just like the EU. The dollar is worthless and now that BRICS and the AIIB are up and running, it's even worth less.
