You're new, so I'll be nice... Reposting is considered a REALLY bad thing among memers. If it seems flash-of-brilliance-clever, try looking for it in Google Images (or whatever search engine you prefer) to see if it's been done before.
It doesn't take all day to Google. If the meme has been done, it'll be right at the top. Takes 30 seconds, tops, and shows respect for the memer who created the original meme.
A true memer is original. Reposting is the little brother of plagiarism.
You're taking this stuff waaay too seriously. I get what you're saying, but your little "I'll let you off with a warning" crap was funnier than the meme in question.
Being nice because they are new, as opposed to putting a reposter on blast and watching them get trolled by the Imgflip community.
It's a "Do unto others" sort of thing. You wouldn't want someone else taking credit for your clever and original memes, so if you're going to repost (which is even mentioned in the rules when you submit a meme), at least say so.
But, whatever, do what you want... Don't whine if you repost and everyone trolls you about it.
I didn't see it the first time, and getting it posted again allowed me to laugh at it. Not everybody has all day to browse the internet making sure they don't offend the people of 2016.
