Back then you couldn't record, DVR, or even rent them yet. You had to get your butt out of bed on time or you missed them. Think that made it more special, you looked forward to it all week, now they are everywhere.

LOL being a kid in the 70's... saturday mornings was something you REALLY looked forward to!!! especially commercials for new cartoons
