Generally, as long as you're within the rules on the submit screen, they'll feature. I only realized after 12 of mine got stuck in submitted hell that something about them wasn't Imgflip-legal.

So people aren't get featured because their images are illegal by imgflip standards?

Here are some ways not to get featured:

- submitting an original image on its own (ie, not a template from the site) without a caption. This includes just copying and pasting a meme from somewhere else and submitting it without re-captioning it.

- submitting a meme that's too extreme in its political or religious views (the mods try to prevent flame wars by not approving memes that are likely to promote controversy)
