And the whole sin, salvation, and sacrifice thing, It would be good news if it all disappeared!

Believer here too. But Jesus wasn't about good and bad. We're ALL bad. The sacrifice makes it forgiven.

Right, it's just that people refer to Jesus as good news, but sinners like me are going to hell, I messed up a few times but don't damn me for eternity, it sounded good at first but now it seems horrible!

If I understand you right, you're saying there's a disconnect between how Jesus is suppoed to be all about "good news," when a big part of the Christian message is about sinners going to hell (which sounds like bad news).

But let me ask you this: if you had a life-threatening illness, and went to a doctor, would you want a doctor that wouldn't tell you about the disease you had? Or would you want a doctor who would tell you the truth even if it sounded like "bad news"?

Just not talking about a problem doesn't mean the problem goes away.

Kinda sorta, what's the reward for being good, sinners are going to hell and the good people get to go to heaven, I just think I should look at the big picture! Lol!
