It's our own fault. We just wanted to give them everything we didn't have growing up.

My youngest is always saying so and so has this and so an so gets to do that, and I tell I don't give a crap about what anyone else. And she also knows(because I told her) I'm not her friend I'm her father :)

I have a cousin turned 18, didn't graduate, and his dad is paying off his first loan for a dirtbike he already destroyed. But his mom thinks they should buy him a car to look for work. If he could get up before noon.

Yeah I sure don't understand folks now days it's like they're trying to buy their kids friendship, hell no. see kids driving new cars, and the next thing you know they've I got killed or jailed for drinking and driving, Grand parents raising their kids kids. My daughter is 14 and I tell all the time she's got 4 more years till shes got to get the hell out.. :)
