Well, it's 95% fun. I'm trying for my General (with Code) license. I feel that, for amateur radio operators, ignoring CW transmissions is like making yourself watch a B&W television....you're just not getting all you can out of the hobby.

Yup. I'm an 'Extra' and a VE. We have CW code practice every morning at 8:00 AM PST here in the Pacific NW on 3.970 mhz. We take turns copying Trivia questions in CW then try to answer them on SSB. Lots of fun and educational too. 73!
