Told a little girl she needed to wear a shirt over her swimsuit and got called racist because I'm white and the family was black

LOL! My daughter's first job was at an optometrist in a shopping mall. She was told to hand out coupons to anyone walking by with glasses on. So, two women walk by together, one white, one black. My daughter gives the white lady a coupon but doesn't give the black lady a coupon. My daughter is immediately accused of being a racist!

She handled it very well, though, saying "Ma'am, I was instructed to hand these out to people wearing glasses, but if you would like one then here you are."

That is funny! I had a similar thing happen. I was out for lunch with 4 females. 3 White, 1 Asian. One of the white ladies had brought her niece who started singing "one of these things is not like the other...." We 3 white women all looked alarmed. The aunt said "Brit, that's not nice" The little girl was referring to the one woman who was wearing glasses.

Don't even mention reds and yellows lol

People need to get past all that crap about racism, we're all going to end up as dust & worm food anyway XD
