He's a choice... just as is writing in Mickey Mouse. But he cannot win. Conservatives aren't libertarian and neither are liberals. So they are going to disagree with his positions too much to ever directly support him either.
I'm looking for someone I can vote FOR, not simply because he or she is not one of the others.
