Well you can pour your heart and soul into making anything, including dubstep. But that translates better with things that have a personal touch (I.e., BB King's guitar playing, Elvis's singing)

Sometimes its the things the musicians don't do right that makes the difference, Keith Moon's slightly "off center" drumming, Hendrix playing the guitar upside down, or a little crackle or feedcack from the amp. Whatever makes it "real".

Well, I thought Hendrix played lefty. People used to think I played the guitar wrong too, because I play a left-handed Telecaster :)

Åh. Maybe he's the only ready I have a left-handed guitar today. Maybe nobody really took it seriously before a legend made it publicised.

I see it the way Björk sees it. People get mad at EDM for not having any feeling, or mad at the computer for making it, but not mad at the person who made it without putting any heart into it.

I personally hate EDM, but I still get the gist of it. It's just some different genre that I don't like. It's all forgettable and interchangeable to me, but people say the same thing about metal and rock music all the time.
