The phrase "due process" means absolutely nothing to you, does it?

My meme also applies to you.

Due process also applies to me. If we allow any rights to be taken away from some mythical "other" group, we are losing those rights ourselves. Want to be arrested and locked up indefinitely because someone "suspects" you're a terrorist. After all it would keep "everyone else" safer. So what if you're innocent.
That is the ultimate endgame when you eliminate due process. And don't assume you're safe because you don't associate with "those people". The political winds may change and the "those people" that we "need to fear" could change to Jews, maybe Christians, a political group that you belong to perhaps? Remember, anything that can be done to "others" can eventually be done to you.

Paranoia really has a hold on you. See a therapist.

Paranoia? There was a time when we herded Japanese Americans into camps (locked up indefinitely) even though they had committed no crimes. Why, well, to keep us safe. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

The difference is Muslims ARE killing people in the U.S. and all over the world. Maybe if they policed their own then others wouldn't feel the need to keep an eye on them. Being reticent is the worst thing Muslims can do.

"Winning" isn't an option. I say what I want and don't care if the other person agrees or not. My problem is it's always the innocent who get injured or killed by something that could have been prevented but that prevention was hindered by people with their own agenda.

Trump will never be president. The fix was in for Hillary the second she said she was running.

You're completely confused and have no idea what you saying. I'm not against guns. I'm for enforcing at risk people that are on a terrorist, FBI or law enforcement watch list not be able to purchase firearms. The other poster is against this. The Orlando shooter was on an FBI watch list and interviewed TWICE but still was granted a conceal permit as well as an armed security guard license after making threats. The guys father was all over Youtube with rants supporting the Taliban.

That's paranoia at it's highest level and I'm against any gun type ban. If you're in the U.S. what you described is an impossibility.

Not if you remove due process. My point has been that the list rely on no form of due process, none. While some on the lists may be legitimate threats, many (probably most) aren't. People are often put on the list because they belong to "dangerous" political movements (think occupiers or tea partiers) Should I avoid any political activity because might be unpopular and get me on a list. Sometimes it's guilt by association, should I be afraid of friending co-workers on Facebook because I don't know their whole history.
The "evidence" used to put someone on the list is non-existent. It would be inadequate to get a search warrant.
It is not paranoia to look at history and acknowledge if we're not careful history could repeat itself. Innocent groups have be persecuted throughout history. Due process in the U.S. is what protects them.
Living is a free country means that everyone is free unless due process determines otherwise.

It is literally impossible to remove weapons from U.S. citizens. If the government tried it would be a civil war. There are millions of AR15 type firearms in circulation. No one would ever turn them in. As for "Due Process" too bad. If you end up on the FBI watch list there is a reason and until you are cleared then you don't get a firearm. You are minimalizing the reasons all the way down to FaceBook to suit your agenda. That's exactly what the paranoid do. Not interested in discussing anymore.
