It is, however it reaches out into a much older audience in both male and female demographics. The animation and plot to the show is well written, I just enjoy watching good cartoon show, some are really hard to come by now these days... :(

I'm not saying you have to, but try watching the season 2 premier of the show. But if you still don't want to, or if it's not really your cup of tea, try watching Dan Vs. It's a somewhat underrated cartoon, and it will make you wonder how it got put on the same channel as MLP
