We all know how talented you are, I'm sure it's how private some of these memers are that keep them from giving the information to get the download that is the reason you only have 3 downloads. Yeah there is a lot to see, I blew each panel up to 1000x1200 but with a multiple panel there is only so much you can do as I'm sure you know. I blame Dashhopes, he asked me to make him a multi panel template and I had so much fun I couldn't stop.

I worked a lot of little details into that sucker lol. Just trying to walk that line of interesting but not too crowded. Think I learned my lesson, when I first learned how to photo shop and crammed so much stuff into a template even I had trouble figuring out what the heck was going on. It's just so much fun to create stuff like that, sometimes I make templates nobody will ever see just for the fun of it. Well and some are a bit passed nsfw that I just send to a few friends lol.

I'm not sure how/if imgflip scales the image but I make most of my templates 500px or 600px wide. I think it's because I downloaded a bunch of popular templates and most of them are 500px I think.

Yeah 500 is my minimum, I'm pretty sure you can un-check a box that controls resizing them. Think I did that on accident one time and my bud pun template was huge. The only reason I blow mine up so big is for when I'm shopping it, it helps when I need to zoom in and delete some minor detail. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine I guess. Drives me nuts when i see a good meme that's like 200/150, guess it's because I know how easy it is to enlarge one idk.

That's good stuff, is memes like that which always make me think of you anytime somebody tells me I'm good at photo shop. I remember seeing your memes and being like, holy crap how does he do that?! Now I know how you do it but that makes it more impressive not less ;)

Thanks, although you impress me more, putting Anna Kendrick and Doge into so many different scenes! Did you ever get my meme book? I allude to some of the photoshopping but not in details.

I filled out the form, I think I used my imgflip email which I always forget to check and half my mail goes to spam anyway. I'll check again I still need two more submissions today and am trying to keep up with comments, never had a meme get over 50 comments and still be in submission. Reallyit'sjohn got me started by telling me what clip art looks like in the background. I've never been good at holding information back if somebody asks for my help. Heck sometimes it feels like I'm teaching a photo shop class but I don't mind. The way I see it, it just helps the site become better all around. Plus they may learn some of my tricks but I don't give away my ideas, those they have to come up with on their own. One of my buddies on here has a program that blends stuff together even. I don't think I'd like that, I kinda like to be the one making those decisions. I love it when somebody asks me to make a template for them, or when I see a template I made make the front page after I couldn't get it there. I know you've made a ton of them, to me that's a hug contribution to the site. I think it was you I saw commenting that they used to have the creators name on the template. They should really bring that back, I think it's an important part of this site that gets overlooked by most.

That's really weird! I've seen featured memes with watermarks all over them. Not sure about templates. Guess you could try adding a little something only you know is there. I've found your templates just searching google images before. I've always thought it's much too easy for people to wipe out that imgflip logo...

You gave me an idea. I will try to make a popular template and put a watermark on it, submit a few memes and see what happens. Maybe tomorrow.

I agree about the template owners name but so many user templates are unoriginal, it would be good if the user could mark them as being original or not.

I've thought a few times about putting like a little ying yang or something in an out of the way spot, of course I know enough to get rid of something like that and sure some others could also. I think that's why I like making templates so much, I've never cared that much about reposts, I just like knowing for sure nobody else has made it the way I have. Seems like the reposts have been getting worse and worse around here. I've seen the exact same meme just a couple pages apart from each other, mainly because people probably think they upvoted it once but it didn't stick so they hit it again. Jokes have been told for century's over and over and they change as time goes by as they get reused. I don't know if it's because I fact check and make sure material is original for the people I work for or what. These blatant attempts at trying to take credit for another persons creativity bug me some what. Heck if somebody gives me an idea for a meme I always give them credit for that idea. Not because they want me to, because I just don't feel right taking credit for something I didn't earn. Crap it's getting late I better stop running on and on and get my butt in the shower.
