That's just the excuse I got when I asked my friend why she bought her 7 yr old a new iphone ;) The only cell phone I have isn't even on a plan, it only works on a wifi signal. My friends just come by if they want to see me I don't like having a phone on me that if I don't answer it people think I'm avoiding them. I'm a simple man and love the looks people give me when I tell them I don't have a cell number lol!

I confess that I finally broke down and bought a smart phone, but since we are surrounded by pine forest there are only about three spots on the property that are signal worthy. I use mine mostly for navigation. And I like it that way. Fair sailing. Farmer Ann out.

It's so damn hot and humid here I had to get our pool fixed, which is me underwater trying to patch a tiny hole lmao! Last year at this time my neck was so broken I could barely move. So I've been reminding my kids how much fun dad can be ;)

Ouch! A doctor told me I have strong ribs when I was 19. Used to have a 65 Mustang and I went through a low water bridge. Breaks got wet but this tree sure made me stop. I hit the special racing GT steering wheel I had so hard I bent it, but somehow only bruised my ribs, still have a scar on my chin from that crash, and a hole in my heart for wrecking that car. White with red interior and a red racing stripe, centerline rims, 289 with headers, an edelbrock carb, plus it was a stock car engine we rebuilt that was bored out 30 over right before I drove it out here with my cousin. Best road trip of my life, California to Missouri, I was 16 my cousin was 18, man I wish I had that car now even with the horrible gas mileage :(

I'm not sure what sounds more painful the accident and your injuries or the loss of that classic :(

Definitely the loss of the car since it's the only pain I still feel lol. I actually got two on front page of the latest! Been a loooong time since I had spots like that!

That car was a part of me ;( I bought her when I was 14, picked up trash at flea market since not many people will hire a 14 yr old to pay for it. You can damn sure bet I had my license the day I turned 16! What kind of ride did you have?

awesome. i to was the same but had a few cars by then. living in the country ment i could drive by the age of 15. my fav was a ford cortina with a 302 winsor bored 30 thou and 3/4 raced cam. and a 650 holly 4 barrel. man that car flew. brakes were on a pulley so u could turn rears off and yeah do killer burnouts. we rigged a bottle feed on an eletric windscreen pump so you could pour flat coka cola on tyres to plume black smoke.aawww youth was fun but now i look back and thinkm how the hell did i survive :)
