YES!!! It very well could be someone close to you with Narcisstic personality disorder (if they're not just being funny.). NPD people lack empathy, transfer their faults onto others, try to control by doing stuff & lying so you'll wonder if you're crazy. Check it out...and oh yeah--they portray a wonderful, caring, do-gooder nature to the outside world. That's why their kids, girlfriends, etc are treated as liars when they testify about it. VERY COMMON and it really really sucks to under their influence. Many people say RUN AWAY!! Also, pedophiles typically are. I know this crap from personal experience & research.
