What did I miss?

I can't figure out if they do anything different or not.

The upside seems to be that you can make a comment that includes both text and a meme, no matter which one you start with (ie, you can make the meme first, then add the text later if you want).

The downside seems to be that now there's an extra step. After generating the meme, it doesn't post automatically. You still have to hit "Post Comment."

Another upside is that if you try to submit the comment and you get the timer, your meme won't get deleted anymore.

Oh OK! That's definitely a big benefit - not having to regenerate the meme if you post the comment too quickly. Thanks!

I wonder if they fixed the glitch where it stores it multiple times in your images, if you post a meme comment multiple times (ie, because of the timer).

It looks like it did. I got the timer last night and there was only one copy of the meme comment.

I had some issues too trying to post a meme comment on one of DashHopes's memes. I got the system error message and couldn't post the comment, but it came back three times.

Yeah the glitches make sense now, they were adding the new code. I thought the buttons had changed randomly during the day yesterday, but decided I was imaging things lol.
