Not that I'm accusing you of having a worthless degree. Shoot, I was a poly-sci guy myself. Talk about a "BS in BS" LOL

No offense taken. But it's true. My mom learned how to type really quick in high school and had clerical jobs. My dad went into the Army and was then landed a job as a firefighter when he got out. I ' ve been a machinist for over 30years. Anyway, sometimes learning a trade is the way to go if you can handle it.
Their generation thinks we're all a bunch of lazy scumbags. Actually it's just that the wage to cost of living ratio is much different than it used to be.

Yes, you're right. But the cost of living now compared to years ago is just part of what the meme is about. It's also about the professional and technical jobs compared to years ago and the cost of education and or experience. I'm surprised that some professionals even know how to wipe their ass. Kinda amusing. This guy who was an owner of a store that I worked at during a part time job had a flat tire and one of the female office workers had to show him how to change it.
Indeed. The cost of education has sky rocketed as well, and it seems that the quality of the education itself has been downgraded. I know lots of college graduates who have a degree, but not more knowledge than someone without one.
