I mean, for me it always takes me to the generator and I have to post the URL as text.

This isn't the only way, but I have downloaded templates that are "mine" so when I make a meme comment, there's a tab for popular, and a tab for mine. I know there are other ways, but I don't know how to do them.

I just use Upload Image each time.

You can save the template to your device then upload it as you need it also

You can also go to add image. Check off the include user templates box then search and add. You then have to stretch the image you added over the original image because it will come up small inside the original image...usually One does not simply. If the image you are adding is more square you may want to pick a square image from the popular ones to stretch it over. I typically use a laptop for this site, so I am not sure how easy that is on a phone.
