If you say so, a little hard to believe looking at your profile. Did you really make those images? I wish I could do that maybe someday, right now a 1000 points looks impossible. I sure didn't expect the 5th ranked user to comment on my meme!

Yup I've learned a lot about photoshop since I joined here, though some of what I think of as the best didn't do so hot. People seem to like a simple pic with a basic caption. The timing is completely random though so if you don't get views it's usually because your meme got buried. Best advice I can give you is to be respectful towards any other user. If they comment on your meme or on one of your comments upvote them. If somebody is rude don't let their words upset you into acting like they do. I simply look for memes I like and upvote them usually with a comment. I've earned a lot more points off comments than any front page meme could get me. This is a good community and if you put good stuff into it that is what you will receive in turn.

Sounds like some kick ass advice to me. This isn't my first online site, just a first for memes. What you said is how things work in a lot of the chat rooms I have been in. So it wont be hard for me to tow the line :)

Well we have had a few people who never got that advice, then after months of being rude to people they blame everybody else for them not being liked. So if I see a brand new person, I figure telling them that being cool about things is in their best interest. So they are aware being rude hurts them the most. You seem to have a good attitude so I prolly could have skipped it. Better safe than sorry I suppose.

I'm glad you told me, I didn't plan on being rude. It's just nice to know one of the top people on the site cares about new users starting off on the right foot. I think I will like it here!
