Wanted to ask what do you do for a living? Sounded like you worked from home?

Well since I've yet to have a best selling book, or one that pays the bills. I have a job that's kinda hard to talk about. Only because I had to sign a non disclosure agreement and I can get fired if they catch me naming names. Basically people that speak in front of audiences want to be sure their facts are right and their jokes aren't repost's. So I fact check their scripts sometimes changing a joke or whatever. I'm just not allowed to take credit for any of it, or Gawd forbid use my own joke in a meme before they are done with it. It pays decent whether they bomb or not, I've worked for and met some semi famous people doing it so that's cool. The fact checking can be extremely boring and time consuming, which I'm sure is why I have the job lol. I just have to be careful I don't have a couple shots like I just did and tell people to watch the tonight show one of my jokes is going to be on it. It's been a while since that happened but I can say some of my jokes have many hits on youtube, I just can't say who is telling them. Oh wait I am allowed to say I worked for Bobcat Goldthwait he left the company I work for so they don't care. I just can't say which jokes are mine because he could sue me if word got out. It's a sticky pain in the arse situation but I get to work at home and be creative. I just suck at keeping my mouth shut sometimes ;)

Well this sounds like an awesome job, minus the keep your mouth shut part lol. I can imagine it could be hard at times. The only thing I did close to having fun was I owned a theatre production company, my partner and I would write plays and produce them. It was a hit or miss business, one play would rake in the money and the next would be a loss. Learned to stick to comedy lol. I was actually writing a play and zipping through it till I joined IMG :D

Yeah my writing time is less but I've got some great characters from people on the site. Mostly one troll in particular, he thought I was typing at him to figure things out. Only what I was figuring out was his mindset so I could create the personality of an anti-hero lmao. Ted was such a disappointment after that! I think when you write a part of you is always people watching, searching for that realism that can bring a character to life. It must be a trip having something you wrote played out in front of you. Closest I've come to that is a joke told on tv and that was a rush. At least you are being creative here I just wouldn't give up on the play completely. But if you are like me the mood will hit ya and then nothing else matters until that thought is on paper, or a word program whatever ;)

Yeah I can see using people to build a character it's something I do also, makes for better character development. That's it maybe in a month or two ill be right back at it full steam!

It works good when you get them to write a whole lot, then you can go back and reference it. I think it's funny when people act all shocked that I wrote so much on here. They just don't realize how many pages I can bust out in one sitting. Nowadays anything longer than a text seems like a lot of writing to people.

I've been working on this kindle deal but I need 3 books minimum. They give them the first one free then if they like it they have to buy the next two. I'm halfway through the second book, luckily there is no deadline I hate forcing it.
