I know I had an awesome weekend with family, Celebrated my little bros 18th birthday, ran a 5k and came in 2nd place, and had a party with friends and we ended up played Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Super Mario Maker, and Catch Phrase. I had a very busy weekend, so I'm glad to see all this welcoming support from you guys! Also, nice job being first on the leadboards DashHopes!

Just in case you come back on Monday, May 2 - there was a meme a while back saying that some "hackers" would try to return to cause trouble on the site on May 2.

So if you're online today, maybe don't click on any links to memes (that's one of the ways it seemed like they got access to people's accounts before - they put scripts in the titles of memes).

For the same reason, I wouldn't click on anybody's username or go to anyone's profile (to see their images/comments etc), just for today - they can put scripts in the person's tagline.

It's probably no big deal and I'm sure the mods will handle it, but I feel like there's no point making it easier for the people who want to disrupt things. :)

Turns out the precautions weren't necessary, apparently. Either the hackers didn't try, or the mods had it pretty well stitched up.

What I meant by script is a line of programming code. In the last hack, that's one of the methods they used - giving people links to memes that had lines of code in the title, and when you clicked on the meme, the code would activate (apparently - I'm not too sure how it all works, but I remember seeing the unusual lines of code, and I remember the effects that followed).
