I read what you wrote about not being able to change your username, and wanting to hold on to your 7,000 points. I understand that it's not desirable to lose your points for such a simple reason.

However, I think you should consider the possibility that the net benefit to your points over the long-term that you would stand to gain in the future by switching now to a username that doesn't sound like spam could be a lot more than 7,000 points.

It's painful. But seeing where you are at and where I am at, I cannot dismiss the advice lightly. I will contact imgflip directly and ask if they can do it on their end. If not I think I change the name. Though bacon will be a part of it ;)
