I bet trickle down economics wasn't a democrat idea, at least not how it turned out. It ain't been tricklin' down much for decades. It was a nice thought, though.

Trickle-up works better. Give people good jobs and everything floats.

Exactly. The corporations that function the best, and often most profitably, are the ones who invest in the infrastructure and their workers. Massive deregulation in the 1980s led to the modern-day excessive bonuses and companies holding on to their capital.

Went to college. 5-year plan got me a history major and sociology and religion minors (and taught me how to drink). That qualified me to work on a receiving dock (and thus all this time to meme). But self-educated too. Read, read, read. If only some of the jokers on this site would do the same...

Lots of college. Working as a mailman & about to retire. And I read & listen to lots of science, sociology, history, etc. on audible books.
