thanks, but i'm just a rookie and not really that good YET (it's frustrating BUT inspiring seeing how good some of the people on this site are!) i downloaded gimp on someone's recommendation but it was too complicated for me. i still use MS Paint and Powerpoint for all my memes.

I think the site for it is GIMP.org, but I might be wrong. You can just google it though. "Gimp" or "GNU image manipulation program"

Not a problem. Gimp is good for photo shopping images for free and if you ever need to work on some audio stuff use audacity.
