Maybe it's because many people view it as morally wrong for there to be individuals making billions and billions of dollars while there are over 16.4 million children in poverty in this country. Maybe it's because the richest family in America, the Walton family of Walmart, doesn't even pay their employess a living wage. Many of their workers have to receive food stamps because their income is less than poverty level. So YOU, (the taxpayers) are subsidizing Walmart because they don't want to pay their workers a living wage. When children don't have a place to live or food to eat, that is called desperation. When you already have way more than you will ever need and yet you still want more, that is called greed.
