Why would anyone think that democratic socialism is going to take all the money from the top 10 wealthiest and give it to everybody?Thats not what's going to happen,it's proposed that because the load of revenue on our nations debt is being pushed onto lower wage earners(and no not just the poor,$500k a year is still a low wage earner) while the upper income (top 10% not the top 10) that because of taxcuts that benefit only the mega-wealthy,pay a yearly tax that's less than a person earning $35k per year.As the income gets higher taxes get lower and in fact actually gets thousands in refunds paid for by the average tax payers in our nation.Mitt Romney's ADJUSTED personal income was $20million... That excludes sheltered funds and non-taxable accounts and paid a tax that was less than what a person earning $50k a year.Uber-profit corporations will likely pay no tax on profits and most often will receive millions in refunds,paid with lower wage earners taxes,in reality just increased national debt.By allowing these corporations to pay poverty wages while increasing their prices for products for even higher profits creates a higher load on our welfare programs.Those corporations have no concern for what they are causing all in the name of greed.Capitalism only works when the ethics and integrity combined with a sense of social obligations are present... And in today's America they are not.They have bought and paid for our government to benefit their profits rather than having an ethical government that fairly considers citizens over the "contributions" they receive.
By adjusting and cleaning up tax codes will lessen tax burdens on smaller companies by making larger companies pay a proportionally equivalent amount.The same goes for the Uber-corps like big tobacco that own many subsidiary's of major corp's of the best known brands of everyday items.Those that choose or have already chosen to move operations into country's that pay 15¢ an hour to avoid paying a livable wage to American workers and dodging taxes,but sell their products here at a premium price,will have to pay a higher import/export tax if they expect to continue profit from American sales.The same applies to other countries that are taking advantage of import/export tax cuts that profit those foreign corps. while hurting American workers.That will create a demand in need for domestic products and services to become a priority instead of the way it is now

Read what you wrote big cat. The top 10% most assuredly do not pay less in taxes than people making 35k. They may pay a lower rate, but if someone makes 10 million a year and pays 2 million that's 20%. If someone making 35k pays 7.5k in tax that's 21%, but it isn't more. If that's you're gripe, Ted Cruz proposes eliminating the IRS and the tax code and assessing a flat rate over a certain amount to everyone. That would solve the tax loophole problem as equitably as can be. Secondly let us assume that the best known brands in the US are suddenly hit with massive tarrifs. People already pay more for those because they are trusted brands. So the owners just pass along the tax, and you now have added to the tax burden of the middle class. Feel the clap!
