Actually, that's not originally mine. I remembered that from MAD MAGAZINE when they did their parody of the series in 1966

Wow, I grew up on MAD, but that was a little before my time! Great memory! I do remember they would even put out recycled "best ofs", etc., and even books (before the comic world got all pretentious and called them "graphic novels"). I was even able to check them out of the school and/or public library.

Graphic Novels. UGH! I hate that term.
As to my memory, well, I've always liked ST. I won't give my age, but let's just say I did watch it every Thursday (and then Friday) night on NBC when it originally aired. You always remember your favorite TV shows. And their parodies. :)

Well, I think that you have me beat by a couple of birthday cakes, but who counts anymore? My claim to fame is that I was born on the very day that The Beatles made their debut on Ed Sullivan.

Who counts? Not me...I've been "39" for the past fifteen years!
You just jogged another memory: The evening news and the Beatles getting off the airplane in NYC on their VERY FIRST trip over here from Liverpool.
