I can't do it! I tried to pick one but there are so many! Reallyitsjohn, Socrates, invicta, were probably the first then lately I have been bombarded with new mentors and friends as well! Raydog, H2O, spursfan, Octavia, I couldn't list them all if I wanted!!!

Mine was Socrates. (and I already saw your other comment before you deleted it. Lol) it would have been Jying, but he started being on imgflip a while after me...

Lol I tried to be faster! I was coming back to post this!!! Jying actually was my 1st friend on here! Not sure if he even remembers, he thought I was a guy :-)

I remember when he first commented on one of my images. I made a meme and I meant to put it under anonymous to see who could guess which user i was, but forgot to put it under anonymous. He pointed in out with a meme comment like this one...

I think people are afraid to comment on this one!!

I don't know why other than a fear of offending someone

It's funny how most of the same names pop up, all are awesome on here, Invicta103, ReallyItsJohn, Socrates, Spursfan, y'all keep me coming back, even when the trolls attacked and the great February upvote drought hit, I came back just to see what y'all were up to!

They'd probably be surprised to see this, but GAME_KING, InfernoKid-Sandstorm, Kanaloa, and Dankerson were the most influential on me in terms of what "works" and what doesn't in terms of memes/meme comments, and how to behave on the site. Those are the users I remember looking up to most when I was first starting and trying to figure things out.

Honestly, I think you can learn something from everybody, though (ok, well almost everybody).

There's lots of good people on here, but Socrates was the one who helped me out the most. I started getting more traction when he made his flame war starter kit, and he, along with Raydog, Invicta, Octavia/tekbarrier, and Juicydeath gave me another hand to help me get to where I am

Invicta was really cool to me when I first started, plenty of others were as well, but Invicta was always supportive and encouraging.

although I can't think of anyone at the moment, I think me and thegirl_ingreen grew together for the most part, so in a sense we are each other's mentors

I had great users to watch and learn from.... the 1st user to teach me about commenting and the point system was tetsuowrath. He knew more as a newer user than I did after being here a while. Socrates & Raydog were great examples and always helped if I had any questions. They and tets are still my "go to" users.... but I also still get help from reallyitsjohn, jying and MANY others to this day. I find newer users VERY helpful too,... too many to even list!! Many on this thread! I consider all the good users family,... and helpful! This is a GREAT site,... of which I wish so many users were neighbors! =)
