Yeah I have a hard time figuring out what people like anymore, I just keep trying to make myself laugh!

That's the only way to do this my friend, I always say as long as one person laughs the meme was worth making, even if that person is me lol. I made those 3 silly a$$ memes with the fuzzy duck heads on them purely for my own amusement and they did better than I thought they ever could with like 8 upvotes each. But damn I laughed my butt off making them. I expected to check back in on this one and it be up to at least 20 upvotes by now but that shows how much I know. There is just no logical way to predict any of it, but I believe that is a lot of what makes it so fun :)

I thought my first one was going to take off (where she says "do you want to die??" ) but I figured maybe the text colors might have thrown it off a bit, so I adjusted the text colors for this one. I think I will probably keep trying at least a couple times so at least more people will see the template, and they might try using it. That's a good template, wish I was any good at puns like that. I think you are wise to try this one again. I just did that with the walter white none of my business one I made and it did a lot better than the first time. Getting a decent spot on the latest stream at a decent time can do wonders. I also believe creating something original is it's own reward. Nothing against anybody that doesn't, I just personally love making something I now has never been done before. I can tell you're like that also I always look forward to what you might come up with next ;)

Yeah I'm pretty creative like that. I have nearly 1000 memes if you put my accounts together, clinkster has 600, memes_king has 260, and quite a few of them are custom! But i'm always looking for more ideas, and i often like to do two or three frame custom memes that I will usually put out there as a public template.

Ha I had no idea you were clinkster also! I just recently started making templates, well I guess uploading and sharing templates the majority of my stuff is original templates as in not from the imgflip library. But I really like the idea of other people taking a template I made and making it even funnier. You're a bit of an inspiration when it comes to that ;)

Thanks for the compliment. But in a way that is what memes are about, taking something someone else made and trying to make it better. Not reposting, although I agree with Socrates there is nothing wrong with reposting, but the true creativity comes out in the new idea, or improvement on the old one.

Blatant reposts make me cringe a little only because they go against my nature. It's kinda what I do for a living, I fact check and make sure the person I work for won't get sued for plagiarism. But if somebody gets a ton of upvotes for a repost then obviously people hadn't seen it and enjoyed it. So who am I to say they should unlaugh and try to ruin their fun. That's just the nature of jokes in general, every joke gets told a thousand times a thousand different ways, the most important thing is that we all keep laughing :)
