People can only vote by what they see on the screen - the final result. We can't see the effort you've put in with your brain.

I know this will sound weird, but think on it a little while. Sometimes too much brain spoils the meme. Some of the ones that have done the best for me were last minute submissions before bed. It is almost impossible to predict what the community will grab a hold of. I will say that almost all successful memes have one thing in common, they open a door for discussion.
