there is a sequencial weight transfer in the feet with this move ...BS weight goes into you right heel ....transition see the weight move over to the left big toe ...and then a rotational snap back and up with the left hip onto your left heel
This is the initial move to start the downswing. It feels like a squat but is actually a bump to the left using the buttocks in a lifting / swiping movement
This move is essential to move the downswing plane forward 2-3" and facilitate a descending strike onto the ball...remember you do not hit down on the ball ...the swing arc is traveling down at impact ....big difference.
