I meant the prick on the motorcycle. The guy in the driver seat has a choice. The smoker has a right to kill himself. Freedom includes the freedom to make bad decisions.

I know, i was joking. In my opinion smoking and alcohol would both be illegal if they came out today.

I don't think he's endangering people that much more than what they're already being exposed to if they are in the open air in the middle of a traffic jam with the off fuming of a bunch of cars...

He's just adding to the pile though, and what about the places where the fumes wouldn't normally do anything but his smoking does.

He's presumably adding to the pile on par with a hummer driver, but I don't see him slashing tires. Besides that, it's outdoors; it's not a significant amount of smoke, and it is not in a contained area. It's not going to do anything to anyone passing by or using their car AC. In terms of "other places," smoking is banned indoors in most places. If you're going to form an argument, form an argument around what cigarette butt runoff does to soil, or possibly aquifer water. But, if your argument is smoke inhalation from a tiny cigarette in an outdoor area, it's not a very good one.

If you watch it carefully then you can see the steering wheel on the other side of the car.
