You didn't look closely enough. The GIF shows the actions of a trapdoor spider, which burrows in the ground with a little "door" leading into its burrow. When an insect, such as an ANT, walks by, as you saw in the GIF, the trapdoor spider reaches out of the door and pulls the insect in to eat it.
