One time in English class we were analysing a Romeo monologue (we were only in Y7 [this is in Australia, that's age 13 for all you yanks] but we were in the higher class) and the teacher is talking bout the emotions Romeo was feeling in the monologue, where he sneaks into Juliet's family estate just to look at her.
context: This is an all boys independent Catholic school btw.
Teacher says: "Romeo's feeling something else here, it starts with a P"
my friend who we'll call Sam blurts out for the entire class to hear: "PEDOPHILE"
teacher, who everybody loves and adores, just says
"Sam."
"Sorry sir, that uh, kinda slipped out"
"I don't want to hear that kind of thing in my class again."
"Yes sir."
"Never. Again"
"Sorry sir."
