I remember those when they first came out. They were unwashable so after a short while they became clogged the conjealed sour milk and probably bacteria . How did we survive ?
We grew up with lead in our paint, no helmet or pads for bike riding and skateboarding and did better in school than many modern students. Growing up in the trenches makes for hardier immune systems ?
