first off, the headline is misleading. the United States has not put marines in space. the space force is the branch of the military that handles that. the government did confirm that they have stationed weapons in orbit, but I haven't looked into that yet so I cant confirm if that is true
also, the gif used at the bottom is from an underwear commercial, so it is unrelated (just so nobody gets confused)
I believe that associated press is a somewhat reliable news outlet, but just be careful to do your research before believing everything you read online
