In practice it’s not really enforceable, the biggest thing they will be enforcing is probably being able to look at your private messages (which the NSA already does but this gives access to other branches to do so).

However, the rest of KOSA is held up by vague wording that websites “know or should have known” the age of the user and makes them completely liable if the user us too young to be on that website. To avoid liability, most websites will probably implement ID checks or biometric checks, which means to access anything on the internet, you’ll most likely need an ID.

The Parents Decide Act on the other hand is super enforceable, as they really only need to make sure Apple and Microsoft implement it on their OS setup. They could just ban the use if Linux outright if Linux refuses to do this.

Linux isn't exactly a specific OS however it is a component of an OS

If any Linux distro is going to be a problem, my guess is they’re just going to ban the use of it altogether.

That would basically mean banning the modification of computers, which I'm pretty sure would trigger several politicians to be assassinated
