The CGI isn't the only issue. Not only are the sounds Dragonslayer makes awful, but they skipped the Lost Children chapters, so there's a continuity issue for people who haven't read the manga wondering why Guts is suddenly so tired. It's not peak. It's garbage. Also, they didn't even get Guts' face right, the movement is stiff, robotic, and cringe, and they didn't even add nipples to the breasts of any of the women (or Guts, for that matter).

Well, the japanese censorship laws are pretty strict, so no wonder they skipped it/censored it. the only way i see a proper berserk anime to be possible is if they got a western producer like Netflix

Still, if they're gonna do a Berserk anime, they shouldn't be pussies and skip shit. That's why Berserk 2016 is ass. They also made it 3d animated using the producer with the least amount of experience with it. And it looks bad enough with experienced 3d animators. 3d animation doesn't belong in anime. I will die on this hill.

i already said that i heard people only complain about the graphics (by which i mean CGI and Animation and everything related) and the Dragonslayer sounds kinda makes sense since its described as a large hunk of iron. plus the reason why we rarely got past the golden age arc in both 1997 anime and movie trilogy is because Golden Age is not so hardcore (except the eclipse which is also heavily censored) as subsequent post eclipse arcs. plus even the 90s anime and movies were toned down when compared to manga, for example: by skipping the entire Wyald arc. Also IIRC the 2016 anime looks like that MOSTLY due to time constraints since the original trailers looked better. Time is an Apex predator after all
