But why do people call the fun with friends genre friend slip when it's literally not slop. Talk about misleading

Literally the thing I was thinking about when I made this meme, lethal company is NOT slop, im personally not a huge fan of it but I got 10 hours of fun out of it which is a huge steal for 10$

I think I got like 25 hrs out of that game, and prolly more to come. Peak is peak. Repo is amazing. And there's probably more I can't think of rn

I just checked my steam library, I actually had around 20 hours on lethal, I forgot I played around a lot with mods, and I never really got into repo but it is undeniably a good game

The repo update came out yesterday and it's AWESOME. They added waaaay more than just cosmetics. You can look into it, and I think the games on sale

I’m hearing a lot of praise for the cosmetics update, and that didn’t really make sense to me as someone who doesn’t play it because it sounded like it was just cosmetics, that’s really cool

Ye, there used to be an arena battle after everyone died and u failed the level. Now there's a 50 50 chance u get that or mario carts with the new scout cart. Also, motorcycle that can carry items??? Heck ye. And the way I get cosmetics is cool too. U find boxes, extract with them, and then at the (newly updated with more special rooms) store, u turn their coin in for cool cosmetics. The rarer the box, the rarer the cosmetic. The animation for the coin thing is cool too. They added new items like the walkie talkie and defibro. And huge customization upgrades, like individualy coloring body parts (I'm a rainbow) and coloring cosmetics too. A few new monsters as well. And in the shop, you can turn off/on this guy that kills anyone that kills another player, which is fun for trolling. Anyways, we now know why it took so dang long and also this is my second rant today, I can't stop.

unless the game is very obviously AI generated, I don't think any games are slop

ai isn’t even really at the point where it can generate games, maybe some 3d assets but they would look horrible, I can kinda understand indie devs using ai for voice acting though, but I’ve heard you can also just get that for free

i think if you use claude, you could probably generate code for an entire game

Yeah the code may very well be possible, but the textures, graphics, stuff like that wouldn’t turn out so well
