If I remember right... 20 times for me? And 3 times for Undying Undyne. To be fair, it took me at least 30 times to beat Undyne and Alphys in Outertale, which I had done before Undertale, so I was used to hard bosses. Sans was still super tough, and karma is a bi***.

yes, but you need a PC or Macbook with Whiskey to run it. You can download it from gamejolt. UTY is peak, I highly suggest playing it if you can.

Wha- how do you not get bored?
I'm currently doing geno in UTY, I'm fighting Zenith Martlet. Holy shitake mushrooms, she is hard. Judging from Ceroba and Flowey, there's going to be multiple phases, and I haven't even gotten past her first phase.

She locked my attack button. I can only dodge, shoot, heal, and learn her attack patterns for this first phase. I just haven't learned to consistently dodge some attacks, especially those feather bombs that spray in your direction. I'll get there eventually, I'm just taking too much damage rn.
