I’m partly exaggerating for meme purposes here, though there’s a lot more problems than just the ending. Like the writing is noticeably bad, like they made it up as they went, the perimeter lock thing was pointless and was literally thrown out of the plot within 2 minutes of being introduced, same with the science fair sub plot and the ghost hunting stuff. Also there was no reason for Michael Afton to be in the movie, they could have written the story around him if they wanted to include him but he served no purpose, and mikes friend just lets him get away for some reason? There’s was some great fan service though, like the post credits
