I liked it at first but it's not good
They did make a V2 though and that one is very good

I never liked fancy island
Or the style of dead air music in general
It gives me a really bad headache and I can barely hear it through the effects
But I'd rather listen to the crusty anechoic sounds of a 90 year old homeless man banging on my window because he saw me go to mcdonald's after I told him I didn't have any money to give him (fancy island) than the legitimate f**king auditory incarnation of anxiety itself (whatever this song is)

it can be hard on the ear, some more than others (Big Eater is the least ear shattering I think)

I have nothing against purely sampled music
In fact there's some of that I really like
It's just from what I've heard everything in dead air has this weird crusty effect over it that makes it feel like I'm listening to it through a possessed gameboy whose only mission in life is to make my ears bleed
Now that could be wrong because I only listened to like two songs from the mod and then decided to never do that again

I think vlad intentionally applied lower quality for the horror element I guess
and it does exacerbate the worse sounding songs
