For real. Be careful tho, the moment you assimilate into a group of guys, if you're popular, then some, potentially all of them, will start to catch the feels for you. So if you're not looking to date, be extremely careful about becoming "one of the bros". It could be a great experience, but it could also get awkward real fast.

It's just the way our minds work. Asking out a girl we don't know can be uncertain and scary, with a higher risk of finding you're not that interested after all. I, at least, try to only pursue girls for dating that I already know, so if you, as a girl, make yourself part of a friend group of guys, by getting to know them super well there's a risk that you're painting a big target on your back even if you're not looking to date.
