Exactly, they went to prison or paid the price.

No one in the history if the world ever attempted a coup de grace on themselves. Trump was President on 6JAN21 and most certainly didn’t try to overthrow himself.
Oh, and every other coup attempted was done with deadly violence. The only deadly violence that occurred was Ashli Babbit being gunned down in cold blood by a cowardly Capitol cop.
