That, and probably when the cold ones were designed, they were going off older information on raptors. Probably didn’t know some of them had feathers yet since most of those papers would have been relatively new. Could also just be the design choice to not give the cold ones feathers or make different cavalry based on the utahraptor since lizardmen could get pteranodon riders early on.

but like, if they had feathers itd be so much cooler. some of them wear feathers and its a cool astectic. but yeah, to think of all the additional units they could've had

I know, I know lizardmen get blessed units so they’re technically different, but some factions rosters just feel so expansive you probably won’t use all of your units your first run, whereas half of the lizardmen units feel the same, just with fancy warpaint and extra buffs.
