I'm not an immigrant - no one hate immigrants overall. I'm very Danish. And I'm not an idealist either. Uncontrolled immigration is bad for immigrants as well, and has always been - ask indigenous Americans. The new streams of boats with only military aged men and no elderly, women and children, are not the usual bunch what so ever though. In comparison the Ukrainian refugees are kinda nostalgic to see.
Also understandable when Pakistan kicks out Afghans, and South Africa kicks out the Buntu, or white ppl if that's needed for some reason.
What ever you need to maintain cultural coherence and safety as a Nation is what I'd grant every place on earth. Then what ever immigrants inflict on you of extra pain will be tolerable.
