It's like I used to tell people in the neighborhood when they complained that they didn't like the Mafia stereotype because it made them look bad. I told them, if yous don't like it, imagine how the rest of us feel.
Innocent bystanders getting shot to death at a restaurant just because they happen to be eating there seconds before a hit or shootout ain't cute. Neither is getting shaken down or otherwise exploited by them.
Long story short: Don't like it? Don't do it.
