he's not trying to be political, he's trying to make fun of them.

They aren’t woke, cause they are pathetic grifters. Disney doesn’t have a moral backbone because they want to pander to everyone. They add LGBTQ characters for the sole purpose of getting headlines, while only adding them in scenes that can easily be edited out for China and other countries like that. If they were woke, they’d at least commit to some type of ethics
