He only has 1 hp. He couldn't get the chance to use lifeup. And the Gaster blasters might be PSI.

No, sans doesn't have one hp: if you played enough genocides, you'll know that the red number is ALWAYS the number of damage dealt, and the red number at the end of sans's bossfight is 99999 (maybe a nine less or a nine more i don't remember exactly).

This means that sans has 99999 hp... OR MAYBE EVEN MORE because he kept Living for a bit after that hit

For example:

-you find a froggit that has (it's just an example) 30 hp

-you deal 29 damage and the red number above the enemy is 29

-the enemy has 1 hp left

- you deal 10 damage

-the enemy will die but the red number above the enemy won't be 10 but 1 because the enemy had 1 hp left, this mean he took only 1 damage, not 10

Toriel has 440 hp, yet you deal 19477 damage.

Papyrus has 680, yet you deal 42063.

The more you kill, the more you can hurt. As your LV increases, your strength increases and you deal more damage. If you really hate someone, you can deal so much damage that you one-shot people.

maybe with the boss character, you want to kill them even more. probably explaining why the damage exceeds the health. with average enemies, a waste of time on energy. I do believe sans doesn't have 1 hp but he has somewhere less than toriel's or similar. also what if sans drank the ketchup he had in his jacket (if he has any) and healed some of his health.
