I was literally talking about the game on the 26th of March and was watching videos about the game because my 2DS XL broke a few years back and I couldn't play it anymore. The next day I woke up and was told that Tomodachi Life was making a sequel. At first I thought it was a joke, but when I looked it up, I noticed it was actually legit! After 10 whole years, this was probably the biggest surprise I have gotten from a video game announcement since Idk how long! Even though the game will be released in 2026, it is worth the wait.
P.S. I apologize for making a late meme capturing my thoughts on the game, I was too excited to even think of a caption for a meme. (Also I know none of y'all asked but I just wanted to share with you guys!) :)
